Can you heat Les Romarins oil? Yes, because our massage oils are composed of vegetable oils obtained by first cold pressing, unrefined and organic, these characteristics make them more sensitive to oxidation than “ordinary/refined” vegetable oils or mineral oil.
It is possible to heat massage oils slightly and preferably in small quantities, but we strongly advise against heating above 55°C. How long do Swissmassage massage oils last? Swissmassage massage oils can be kept for 12 months after opening, however beyond this date, we recommend smelling the product to check its condition as they can still be used for a long time.
Poor storage conditions can decrease shelf life.
To preserve the quality of massage oils, the cap must be tightly closed on its original bottle and protected from air, heat and light. Is Les Romarins massage oil photosensitizing? No, because Les Romarins massage oil as well as all Swissmassage oils do not contain essential oils known to be photosensitizing.
