Introduction to sports massage on Saturday morning, November 15, 2025

The introduction to sports massages is a great opportunity for people who are looking to learn the basics of massage techniques and gain skills to offer massages to their sports friends, family or themselves.
This is a half-day workshop during which a qualified therapist teaches you the basics of sports massage techniques, focusing mainly on practice.
Equipment such as massage tables, pads and oils are provided by Swissmassage, as well as a large XL massage cloth, which is offered to you at the end of the course.

Program of the morning:

8:00 AM – 8:10 AM Reception and installation of the foldable massage tables
8:10 AM – 8:15 AM Welcome and morning program
8:15 AM – 8:35 AM Round table, relationship of each person to the massage, interest and expectations of the participants, quick presentation of the speaker’s background
8:35 AM – 8:45 AM Explanations of the contraindications to massage and important points of a history
8:45 AM – 9:20 AM Demonstrations of movements per part, 1 (foot – leg double/back), 2 (back, neck, arms, pectorals)
9:20 AM – 9:40 AM Group 1 Movement Practice (Lower Limbs)
9:40 AM – 10:00 AM Group 2 Movement Practice (Lower Limbs)
10:00 AM – 10:15 AM Break
10:15 AM – 10:45 AM Group 1 Movement Practice (Upper Limbs)
10:45 AM – 11:15 AM Group 2 (upper limb) movement practice
11:15 AM – 11:30 AM Questions and revisions of the passages of the body to be reshown + review of contraindications to massage
11:30 AM – 11:50 AM Presentation of massage tables, oils and accessories
11:50 AM – 12:00 PM Closing and assessment of the morning

Practical information:

Le cours commence à 8h à Swissmassage (Chemin des îles 16, 1860 Aigle) et se termine à 12h.
We have parking spaces.
Le cours s’effectue en binôme. Chacun son tour, le masseur se fait massé et vice-versa.
Si vous ne vous inscrivez pas en binôme, vous pourrez tout de même effectuer le cours avec un autre participant inscrit seul.
Prévoyez de prendre un maillot de bain pour un bon confort.
Tout au long du cours, vous pourrez bien entendu poser des questions et nous y répondrons avec plaisir.
Un linge de massage de grande taille vous est offert à l’issue de la matinée.

The “Introduction to Massages” workshop can be a revelation for some people, increasing their knowledge and understanding of the human body, as well as allowing them to offer relaxing and sports massages to their close entourage. It can also be a great opportunity for those looking to develop professional skills in the field of wellness and health.
